Chris Bergquist Fulmer
Chris Fulmer is a graduate of North Texas State University (MA in art history), Trinity University (BA in art and English), and the University of Texas at Austin (BFA in Art Education).
She also has accumulated a substantial amount of graduate studio hours from Texas Tech University.
She is a professor of art at North Lake College, Irving, Texas. Her past experiences include: consultant for Binney & Smith, public school art educator, art instructor for The Art Annex (Coppell, Texas), and curriculum development for Laguna Gloria Museum (Austin, Texas).
As an artist, Chris Bergquist Fulmer creates mixed media work on paper and panel. Often including three-dimensional objects and areas of texture, she executes thematic works dealing with literature, symbolism, or personal experiences.
Her award winning work has appeared both nationally and locally in a variety of shows and juried exhibitions. Her work is also included in corporate and commercial collections, including Texas Instruments, Falling Rock Resort, The Woodlands Convention Center and the DFW Executive Center.
